Shelley Brown, MEd, BSDH, RDH
Shelley has worked in dentistry for 25 years. Her current clinical setting is working with patients in homebound settings with her company, Homebound Smiles, LLC. She also currently works as adjunct faculty at the Utah College of Dental Hygiene, a baccalaureate program. She loves curating helpful content through her co-owned company Hygiene Edge, whose goal is to inspire dental professionals to be their best. Their YouTube channel has over 26 million views on their helpful videos. Shelley is an award recipient of the 2021 Today’s RDH Honor Awards and was on the 2023 RDH Magazine advisory board. She is also a top 50 teledentistry leaders to know in 2023. In her free time, she loves riding her 4 young boys around her city on her cargo bike.
Bernice Dabrowski-Iwinski, BSDH, RDH
Bernice is an award-winning dental hygienist with over 30 years of experience. Her collaborative work with the World Trade Center Dental ID Team after the events of 9/11, further elevated her level of fulfillment with her chosen career. Bernice loves to share her passion for and expertise in dental hygiene with colleagues and patients. A lifelong learner, she is always excited to master new skills and share them with others. Bernice loves to dance, is a proud former Girl Scout leader, and is an active member of the Connecticut Dental Hygienists’ Association.
Dr. Cameron Shahbazian, DMD, MBA
Dr. Shahbazian is a Massachusetts native and attended the University of New Hampshire where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Shahbazian then went on to Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he received his DMD. Following Dental School, Dr. Shahbazian did a one-year General Practice Residency at Lincoln Hospital in New York City, and also completed an MBA from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. Dr. Shahbazian is a former Lecturer of Restorative and Biomaterials Sciences at Harvard’s School of Dental Medicine. Currently is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of General Dentistry at Boston University’s Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He holds numerous committee appointments at Boston University and is also the recipient of the Massachusetts Dental Society’s Prestigious Ten Under Ten Award for making significant contributions to the profession, the community, and organized Dentistry. He is also an inducted fellow of American and International College of Dentists. Dr. Shahbazian currently maintains a Dental Practice in Quincy, Massachusetts, where he has been for almost 10 years.
Christine Ochsner, RDH, MBA
Christine Ochsner is a Professional Education Manager for Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals covering the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. She earned her bachelor’s from Northeastern University and has an MBA from the University of Massachusetts. Prior to Colgate, Christine worked as a clinical hygienist in and around Boston and has been with Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals for the past 17 years. In her spare time, Christine is a lover of all things nature, is forever grateful to live by the Arnold Arboretum, and has a personal goal to visit every national park.
