Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for Associate level scholarships. Please refer to specific scholarships for further requirements:
- Must be a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA).
- Must be enrolled in an accredited dental hygiene program in the United States.
- Students in their final year of their program are ineligible for funds, due to disbursement schedule.
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
Diann Bomkamp Leadership Scholarship
Awarded to a student, who is pursuing an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in the State of Missouri and is a leader in their Student ADHA Chapter. Also, the applicant should be an active volunteer in their community.
Award Minimum: $1,000

Sigma Phi Alpha Associate Scholarship
This scholarship is sponsored by Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society and is awarded to an outstanding student pledge or active member of the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society.
Minimum GPA: 3.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)

Karla Girts Memorial Community Outreach Scholarship
This scholarship is sponsored by Procter & Gamble in memory of Karla Girts, BSDH, RDH, past president of ADHA and former Chair of ADHA Institute for Oral Health. Applicants will display a commitment to improving oral health within the geriatric population and submission requires an additional essay.

HuFriedy Group/Esther Wilkins Instrument Scholarships
This scholarship is sponsored by the HuFriedy Group. Award recipients will receive HuFriedy Group dental hygiene instruments of their choice, equivalent to a retail value of $1,000.
