BETH MONNIN, RDH, MSEd is the clinic coordinator and assistant professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College in Cincinnati. She has more than 20 years of experience in the dental hygiene field in both the educational and clinical settings. Monnin’s passions include cultural competency, access to care, periodontal instrumentation and treatment, substance use cessation, and expanding the education of dental hygienists. She is also an ADHA member.
ALYSSA DELGADO, MSDH, RDH is a dental hygienist and teaches as an assistant professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, dental hygiene program. Her passion is to influence and inspire dental professionals around her with the latest evidence based research and new technologies to enhance the practice of dental hygiene and help all hygienists advocate for themselves and their patients. She is also an ADHA member.
RINA A. NOWKA, RDA, MA, FADHA is a Full-Time Clinical Assistant Professor and Student Professional Development Coordinator in the Dept. of Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting at NYU College of Dentistry. She is the course director for Pain Management and Radiology and teaches preclinical and clinical care in the Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting Programs. She has also published in dental hygiene peer reviewed journals. Rina currently serves as the Membership Committee Chair of the NJDHA, she is a Professional Fellow of the ADHA, and practiced dental hygiene for over 30 years.
ESTHER TINGUE, RDH, BS, MA is a Full-time Clinical Instructor for the Department of Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting at NYU College of Dentistry and faculty at NYU Brooklyn Patient Care. Tingué has over 24 years of experience in private practice and has presented lectures on oral pathology and the importance of mental health for dental hygienists. She is an active NYC-DHA board member. Her interests and current focus highlight the importance of mental health within the dental hygiene community and collaborating with not-for-profit organizations to promote the significance of oral health.
DR. KELLY TANNER, RDH, PHD is a renowned leader at the forefront of reshaping dental care and helping teams and individuals reach unprecedented levels of professional fulfillment. Dr. Tanner has received much recognition for her outstanding leadership in healthcare and university settings. Her leadership experience, doctoral education in business and leadership, and licensure in coaching have helped thousands of dental professionals grow, gain confidence in their workflow, build trust with patients and their dental team, and take ownership of case acceptance. Dr. Tanner is also an ADHA member.
DR. ANN E. SPOLARICH, RDH, PHD, FSCDH is an internationally recognized author and speaker on pharmacology and the care of medically complex patients. She has presented over 1,100 invited lectures and has over 125 professional publications. She is Professor, Course Director of Pharmacology, and Assistant Dean for Research at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, A.T. Still University (ATSU), where she teaches in the Special Care Clinic. Ann is also faculty in the NYU Langone AEGD residency program at ATSU. Ann has fellowship status in the Special Care Dentistry Association and is a lifelong ADHA member.
CRYSTAL KANDARIS LANE, RDH, MS has practiced dental hygiene for more than 20 years. She is an Assistant Professor at Idaho State University’s Department of Dental Hygiene where she teaches expanded functions restorative care, local anesthesia, dental materials and preventative clinics. Yoga has been a primary health maintenance practice for Crystal for nearly 20 years. She values and understands the need for feasible balance and workplace well-being practices in both clinical and educational settings.
