ADHA Policy on Requests for Research Support
ADHA Members and non-members may request support from ADHA asking the association to post information about research studies to members. These inquiries/request swill be considered based on the following criteria:
- The study has relevance to the discipline of dental hygiene.
- IRB approval has been obtained and letter must be provided.
- Researchers are graduate students and/or dental hygiene educators
Parameters of ADHA assistance include:
- ADHA will not share membership contact information; everything will be communicated directly from ADHA’s platforms.
- Request is limited to no more than two posts or communications
- Study details and content to be posted must be sent to [email protected] a minimum of four weeks prior to the requested distribution date.
- Communications will not be sent to a specific target population. If target population is necessary, it must be included in the announcement.
- Communications will NOT be posted on social media sites.
Preference will be given to:
- Members of the ADHA
- Those who indicate they will be submitting their manuscript to the Journal of Dental Hygiene
Requests will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Support may be limited to one study per month depending upon the project and staff support needed per project.
