The ADHA Committee on Policy works to maintain a current and relevant policy manual by collaborating with all of the councils and other work groups. There is a main policy in each area with supporting policies following.

Awarding CE Credit to Externally-Developed Educational Courses

ADHA members and nonmembers may request support from ADHA to award continuing education (CE) credit for a non-ADHA upcoming educational program they have developed. Requests for Research and Research Support

The ADHA regularly conducts research studies on various important topics within or affecting the practice of dental hygiene and the ADHA membership. ADHA also receives many requests for research or research support. Please review the requirements outlined in ADHA’s Policy on Requests for Research Support prior to soliciting support from ADHA for a research project. External Fundraising

This policy establishes guidelines regarding the promotion or solicitation of fundraising activities by third parties through ADHA’s and the ADHA Institute for Oral Health (IOH) Foundation’s communication channels and platforms. View the policy.

Posting Continuing Education Programs and Events on the ADHA Website

ADHA Members and nonmembers may request to post continuing education programs and events on the ADHA Website. Consideration will be given to post these items based on meeting the specific criteria.
