Please note, in addition to attending the HOD sessions, the Voting Student Delegate must be present at the HOD floor to cast her/his vote. You will also receive information regarding how to apply to be the Reporting Student Delegate who attends the Student Mega Issue discussion and records the student viewpoint to share with the HOD.
Just read what the 2011 Student Delegates/Alternates had to say about their experience:
“This experience was, without doubt, the best experience that I have had since I began dental hygiene school.” – Amanda R., District I
“I would definitely encourage others to apply for the Student Delegate/Alternate Student Delegate position. The initial reason to get others to apply is the fully paid flight and hotel to get the interests of other students. But the biggest reason to apply is for the once in a lifetime experience, because this was an experience I would never forget.” – Kyle V., District III
“It is a great way to help you understand the workings of the ADHA. You have opportunities to network and learn new techniques and try products that could help you. You get to be a leader and have your voice heard.” – Karaleigh M., District X
