Council on Foundations
The Council on Foundations (COF) is a membership organization of more
than 2,000 grant-making foundations and giving programs worldwide. They
provide leadership expertise, legal services and networking opportunities
- among other services - to their members and to the general public.
The
Foundation Center
The Foundation Center collects, organizes, and communicates information
on U.S. philanthropy, conducts and facilitates research on trends in the
field, provides education and training on the grant-seeking process, and
ensures public access to information and services through their Web site,
print and electronic publications, five library/learning centers, and
a national network of Cooperating Collections.
FundsNet
Online Services
FundsNet Online Services is an expansive database containing funding notices
and fundraising opportunities through outside links and blogs.
Chronicle
of Philanthropy
The Chronicle's Guide to Grants is an electronic database of all corporate
and foundation grants listed in The Chronicle of Philanthropy.
The
Grant Advisor Plus
The Grant Advisor Plus provides services designed exclusively for U.S.
colleges and universities, and their faculty. Subscribers receive a monthly
newsletter and listings of grant and fellowship opportunities for their
institutions and faculty.
Grantmakers
In Health
Grantmakers In Health (GIH) is a nonprofit, educational organization dedicated
to helping foundations and corporate giving programs improve the nation's
health. GIH generates and disseminates information about health issues
and grant making strategies that work in health.
The
Grantsmanship Center
The Grantsmanship Training Program covers all aspects of researching grants,
writing grant proposals and negotiating with funding sources. TGCI conducts
some 200 workshops annually in grantsmanship, enterprise development and
fundraising.
