| 2006 Wrigley/ADHA Tobacco
Intervention Award Presented to Nancy Kane Mann
Chicago—July 31, 2006—The
American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) has named Nancy
Kane Mann, RDH, MSEd., of Fort Wayne, Ind., as a recipient of the
2006 Wrigley/ADHA Tobacco Intervention Award.
The award, sponsored by the Wm. Wrigley Jr.
Company, recognizes outstanding tobacco intervention efforts within
the community by dental hygienists.
Mann received her Associate of Science in
Dental Hygiene degree from East Tennessee State University, her
Bachelor of Science Dental Hygiene degree from Loyola University
of Chicago, and her Master of Science in Education from Indiana
University. She is currently employed as a clinical associate professor
in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Indiana University-Purdue
University Fort Wayne as well working as a clinical dental hygienist
at the Fort Wayne Dental Group.
Mann was honored at ADHA’s 83rd annual
session in Orlando, Fla. on June 24th where she received $2,000
and a commemorative award.
