| ADHA Announces Recipient of 2010 Hu-Friedy Master Clinician Award
CHICAGO, July 1—The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) has named Michelle Noblet-Vacha, RDH, of Colorado Springs, Colo., as the recipient of the Hu-Friedy Master Clinician Award. She was honored during the Saturday Plenary Session and Awards Presentation at ADHA’s 87th Annual Session in Las Vegas on June 26.
Noblet-Vacha received her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz., in 1989. She is the founder and executive director of Senior Mobile Dental, a nonprofit dedicated to providing oral health care for elderly adults.
This award recognizes a clinical hygienist who demonstrates outstanding clinical expertise in relating the interdependence of clinical practice and patient education for the improvement of patient compliance.
ADHA is the largest national organization representing the professional interests of more than 150,000 dental hygienists across the country.
