CHICAGO, July 1—The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) has named Joanne C. Fletcher, RDH, MS, of McKinney, Tex., as the recipient of the Johnson & Johnson/ADHA Award for Excellence. She was honored during the J&J Award of Excellence and President’s Luncheon at ADHA’s 87th Annual Session in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 27.

Fletcher has been a member of ADHA for 50 years. She received her associate degree in dental hygiene from the University of Bridgeport. Then she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in biology and a master’s degree in biology and nutrition at University of Bridgeport.
