| ADHA Announces Recipient of 2010 ADHA/Procter & Gamble Dental Hygiene Educator of the Year Award
CHICAGO, July 1—The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) has named Susan Lynn Tolle, BSDH, MS, of Virginia Beach, Va., as the recipient of the ADHA/Procter & Gamble Dental Hygiene Educator of the Year Award. She was honored during the Saturday Plenary Session and Awards Presentation at ADHA’s 87th Annual Session in Las Vegas on June 26.
Tolle has been a member of ADHA since 1976; she has also held various offices in her local component and served on several state committees. She obtained her Bachelor of Science and master’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of Kentucky. She is currently a professor and the director of clinical affairs at Old Dominion University.
This award recognizes excellence in teaching, mentoring and devotion to student achievement.
