The ADHA House of Delegates sets the policy and direction for the profession of dental hygiene. Composed of elected delegates from each state in the US and the District of Columbia, the House discusses and votes on issues of national and oftentimes global
significance. All are welcome to take advantage of the gallery seating and view the House of Delegates in action.
*Note – Submission of Testimony forms and boxes for submitting testimony to Reference Committees A, B, C will be located outside of the Forum Rooms, lower level on the existing registration counter. All testimony must be submitted by 8:30 am on Sunday, June 27.

To keep the House of Delegates sessions flowing smoothly, the reports and issues before the house are assigned to two or three committees of five individuals who are charged with making an in-depth study of the issues and recommending actions ADHA should take. Share your thoughts in this town hall format on the annual reports from ADHA councils and committees and the important policies that direct our profession and know that your comments will be considered when the committee makes its recommendations to the House
of Delegates.
*Note – Reference Committee reports will be available for pickup by Trustees at 7:30am on Monday, June 28 in the ADHA Staff Office, Salerno

District Discussions – Formerly known as district caucuses, the title has been changed to reinforce that all members within each district’s geographic regions are welcome to attend these sessions during which the issues before the ADHA House are discussed,
the district trustee is elected (alternate years) and candidates for national office are often invited to make informal talks about their candidacies. To learn the states in each district see the listing of district trustees and then plan to attend this session with
fellow dental hygienists from your region.

This will be an opportunity to network with other leaders, past, present and future and identify volunteer positions that may interest you. There will not be a formal presentation. ADHA Legislative Chairs Workshop

State presidents and legislative chairs are invited to attend this workshop to get a comprehensive update on ADHA’s advocacy efforts and learn more about how activities at the national level can be used to further advocacy programs within states. This year the workshop will focus on effectively messaging of advocacy issues and will be an opportunity for state leaders to network with each other.

Mega Issues Forum

The Mega Issues Forum is an opportunity to discuss one main topic that it important to YOU, the profession and the association. The topic for discussion will be chosen based on delegates responses to suggestions made by the board of trustees. Installation Luncheon
